Turnip for Lunch

I’m doing a little research on turnips today for Real Time Farms.

Research means reading, cooking, and eating. Look forward to the topic of turnips on the Real Time Farms blog tomorrow …

Here’s today’s lunch/ experiment.

Simple salad, tossed with champagne vinegar (so fancy for a Monday afternoon), topped with sliced apples and grated turnip.

Yes, that is turnip, not cheese.

So good!

Super simple, but something a little different than usual.

More turnip research is in the oven!

I followed up my lunch with a homemade oatmeal pecan chocolate chip cookie and some peppermint tea.

Very delicious.
