Is this really about tomatoes?
Not always. Mostly it is about what I’m doing, thinking, seeing, cooking.
Abouts are hard to write. I do take a lot of pictures of tomatoes.
I like food and cooking, so there’s lots of that on this blog. I also like reading and writing, which is maybe why I started this in the first place.
I just moved to Seattle, from Michigan. It’s exciting. I’m really glad there are cedar trees here. And water everywhere you look.

I’m from MI as well moved to KY 4 yrs ago and Love It. I grew up in Grayling and moved to Hartland/Howell area . Then lives in Highland/Milford for 9 years before coming to KY

Saw your comment on home page about apple pie and cheddar cheese. I am now 67 years old and when I was growing up, my Mother sometimes served warm homemade apple pie with cheddar cheese on top and it was delicious. She made the crust from scratch and was such an excellent baker, it was impossible to tell when she used fresh apples and when she used canned pie apples. She had “The Touch,” which unfortunately, I did not inherit. Warm apple pie is also very good with milk or cream poured over it, as well as with the old standards of ice cream or homemade whipped cream. Really enjoy your writing style. Your comment about apple pie with cheddar cheese brought back happy childhood memories!
